¡¡¡¡Founded in 1976, Huaibei First Textile Company (the former Huaibei First Textile Factory), began its production in 1978. Now it has 86,000 yarn spindles, 12,000 thread spindles, 1,120 rotor spindles, 1,570 looms(230 sets of rapier looms, 50 air-jet looms), and 350 sets of garment machines. There are 5,000 employees, with 300 of them are of technical staff. The total assets are up to 450 million yuan, with 98.8 million yuan as fixed assets. The annual output is 12,000 tons of yarn and 50 million meters of grey fabrics.
The company sticks to the guideline of "Devoted, Practical, Innovative & Civilized" to regulate the employees' behaviors. It has been awarded with the following titles: "Provincial Excellent Supplier," "Provincial Excellent Quality Control Enterprise," "National First Class Measurement Unit", "State Second Scale Enterprise", "Excellent China Textile Enterprise", etc. In June 18, 2001, the company passed the ISO9002 quality standard certification.
The company has paid great attention to "high-tech and export oriented" development, and has gradually replaced the old machines with advanced new ones. It introduced the Uster inspecting equipment to improve the inspection standards.
